A rare version of the variety of Assyrtiko, cultivated in the volcanic soil of Limnos, strongly influenced by the saltiness and the Aegean sun. An organic, aromatic, sinewy textured wine combing marine minerality and salinity known as a “thalassitis” (made by the sea) wine.

The Dafní grape variety was saved from extinction by the Lyrarakis family in the early ’90s. Its name derives from the laurel (bay leaf) plant, which is called “Dáfni” in Greek, as the wine produced resembles these aromas. A wine with a distinctive herbal character, refreshing mouthfeel and intense aromatic aftertaste, in a citrus fruit background.

Pale gold with bright reflections. On the nose, hints of white pear, white flowers and ripe peach. On the palate, a beautiful structure and acidity along with enticing fruit flavors. Plenty of body for a wine that shows such delicate aromas and flavors. Fruity, floral and yet still quite dry.

Pale lemon color and attractive aromas of lemon, grapefruit, pineapple, lime, peach and green apple. It has sharp acidity and medium body while the mineral sensation is quite intense on the palate.

Green-pear peel freshness makes for a lovely nose on this wine. The palate combines pear-peel texture with citrus pithiness on the concentrated body while vivid lemon freshness pervades everything. It is bright, zesty, rounded and mouthwatering on the finish.

Single vineyard over 50 years old. Remains on the lees for 18 months in the tank and is bottled 2 years after the grapes are harvested. Bright, straw blonde colour, with golden hues. Complex metallic nose, with intense aromas of citrus fruit (riped lemon), accompanied by hints of herbs and citrus flowers. Rich body, refreshing acidity and long aftertaste, where minerality dominates.
